I didn’t get out much this week but I do enjoy that I can nature walk right in my own yard. My walk at my alma mater’s campus was a meet the parent’s kind of walk. The red-winged blackbirds massed in a tree with one circling overhead “yelling” at me. The geese hissed and the killdeer put on a show. I spotted the young killdeer across the street and soon after one of the parents flew in front of me. Killdeer drag their wings and fan their tails while moving away from their young attempting to get you to follow. Enjoy your morning walk and as always click to enlarge any photo.
